| Here are photos of the ice creations that are left by heavy freezing spray ice storms off Lake Superior. It is amazing how a single branch, or strand of grass can accumulate inches of ice from these storms. Several factors have to align for ice to accumulate on the shoreline, including wind speed, temperature, and lack of shore ice on the lake. | ||
