sky, no snow,, the sand is soft under foot, no ice on the lake,,,
what???????? and surf's up!
Any time the sun is out and there are surfable waves, is it ever nice. It was fun not having to waterproof the camera and brave the onslaught of typical conditions of precipitation gusting sideways, most of the tirme directly in my face and lense. The only thing I had to fight was overexposure from the sun on the whitewater, I'll take that any day. I didn't even need gloves standing on shore, it was toasty! Lots of images here of a few Lake Superior surfers, all thumbs on one page. MH was getting a lot of waves today |
